Sophie Paturle – GUESNEROTManaging Partner
Sophie Paturle Guesnerot is co-founder and Managing Partner of Demeter IM. She has extensive experience in private equity, having worked for BTP Capital, Crédit du Nord and then Société Générale, before co-founding Demeter in 2005, a private equity company that is a pioneer and leader in the energy and ecological transition in Europe.
Prior to this, Sophie was an auditor with PWC.
Sophie is also a director of CNRS, IFP Energies Nouvelles, Hexaôm, a listed ETI, and several Demeter portfolio companies, including Aledia, Avidsen, Gireve and Instant System.
She co-chairs France Invest’s Industry and Ecological Transition Commission, has served as a director and is an Ambassador for France 2030, the government’s plan to support innovation, industrialization and research in 2021.
Sophie is a graduate of Sciences Po Paris, with a Master’s degree in economics and a DECF.
She is a Chevalier de l’Ordre National du Mérite and Chevalier de la Légion d’Honneur.
