Antoine TROESCHManaging Partner
Antoine Troesch has joined Demeter as Managing Partner, working alongside Stéphane Villecroze and Sophie Paturle and in liaison with business line managers Eric Marty (venture capital), Lionel Cormier (development capital) and Philippe Detours (infrastructure).
Antoine Troesch began his career in 2002 at Morgan Stanley, where he worked on energy and infrastructure projects, including EDF’s IPO. He joined Orano in 2005, where he successively held the positions of manager in the strategy department, director of strategy for the uranium enrichment business, director of mergers and acquisitions for the group, and director of the chemicals & enrichment business. He was a member of the Group Executive Committee from 2015 to 2018 and Chairman of the Management Board of Eurodif. He was instrumental in the launch of the Comurhex 2 plant (France’s biggest industrial investment of the decade).
Between 2018 and 2023, Antoine Troesch was the Director of the Investment of Banque des Territoires, within the Caisse des Dépôts Group. With the Banque des Territoires teams, he doubled the size of the portfolio to over 7 billion euros and 1,400 lines in most sectors of the economy (energy, environment, mobility, digital, industry, tourism, healthcare, ageing, education, retail, etc.) in several asset classes (private equity, infrastructure, real estate, funds, etc.). The projects financed (around 400 per year, with equity capital of €2 billion) play an important role in the energy and ecological transition, as well as in local social cohesion.
Antoine graduated from École Centrale Paris and Institut d’études politiques de Paris.
