After 20 years of experience in the environmental services and energy sector at C-Level positions, Gonzague Dejouany founded The Nesting Company, an agency specializing in Smart City and sustainable innovation, which finances and supports European early stage start-ups. Former CEO of EDF in Germany, he has also led Veolia Environment in Switzerland and in the commercial development of the Veolia Group in Europe. 6 years of experience as a manager and owner of a French SME has broadened his vision of the business.
He is Partner at DEMETER he joined in 2019 for GET, Green European Tech, a Franco-German scale up fund launched by Demeter to create European champions of sustainable technologies. Gonzague will be particularly active there as an operating partner.
Highly involved in economic cooperation and cross-border activities between France and Germany, he founded the Franco-German Economic Circle in Berlin in 2012 and the Franco-German Wirtschaftsrat Commission in 2016. He currently chairs the Franco-German think tank “ensemble”, is member of the Franco-German Academy of the Industry of the Future and supports the German French Young Leaders organization. Engaged in the European construction, he is the author of “The Syndic, a crazy history of Europe” at Editions Ramsay.
