Demeter announces an investment in ZEWAY, a new player in electric mobility, by the Fonds de Modernisation Ecologique des Transports (FMET)
ZEWAY is a new player in electric mobility offering a service of personal electric mopeds with swappable batteries in a network of stations deployed throughout the city. This innovative service for individuals and professional users (last mile delivery fleets), aims to foster the shift from thermal to electric mopeds with a faster and smarter way to charge: battery swapping allows to recharge in less than one minute!
The Fonds de Modernisation Ecologique des Transports (FMET), managed by Demeter, is one of the main subscribers of the company’s capital increase, representing a total of € 15M.
This investment was made alongside InnovAllianz fund managed by Allianz France, WaterStart Capital fund managed by NCI to launch the service.
