Demeter announces an investment of 15 M€ from the Fund for Ecological Modernisation of Transport (FMET) into Proviridis, a company that specialises in alternative fuels distribution
The company, founded in 2012 in Rousset (13), develops and builds refueling stations for their own account and for third parties, and then operates them under the VGas brand.
Proviridis’ business accelerates the deployment of NGV mobility; it hence contributes to the progressive decarbonisation of transport and the improvement of air quality by reducing the emissions of fine vehicule particles.
Totaling 19 M€ in equity and quasi-equity, the fundraising is led by Demeter and accompanied by the Banque des Territoires, a historic shareholder. It aims at financing the development and operation of a network of fifty stations in France.
