Sophie Paturle-Guesnerot acting for Demeter, attended the conference “Financing the transition for a low-carbon society” that was held at Jussieu on 4 June 2018 as part of the 15th International Weather & Climate Forum.
This conference brought together scientists, experts in climate finance, company and local authorities representatives.
Sophie Paturle-Guesnerot was a speaker at the roundtable “key issues and projects for firms in terms of green financing” as well as Gilles Vermot-Desroches (Director for sustainable development, Schneider Electric), Valérie David (Director Group sustainable development and innovation, Eiffage) and Arnaud Berger (Director prospective Green Economy & CSR, BPCE), three high-level personalities.
Frédéric Vidal, Jean Jouzel and Jean Chambaz shared their views on the interaction between research, innovation and financing the transition for a low-carbon society.
